Se comienza con un análisis del aseguramiento médico para a continuación pasar a discutir los diferentes sistemas de salud en las sociedades de nuestro entorno, con énfasis en el Sistema Nacional de Salud español. A continuación se analiza el comportamiento de los profesionales del sector y de la industria farmacéutica. Finalmente se introducen los elementos básicos de la evaluación económica de las tecnologías sanitarias.

Promoting the continuous improvement of working and study conditions of the entire university community is one the basic principles and goals of the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena. You will also find recommendations on how to proceed in an emergency or if an incident occurs. Particularly when carrying out training practices in laboratories, workshops or field work, you must follow all your teacher's instructions, because he/she is the person responsible for your safety and health during practice performance. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and do not put your safety or that of your classmates at risk.

Spoken or written exams
Written exam structured in three parts.
1) The first part is a multiple choice test, corresponding with the multiple test in the continuous evaluation system, with a maximum of 20 three-choice questions of which only one is correct. This part accounts for 30% of the marks of the evaluation.

2) The second part of the exam, corresponding with the evaluative activities scheduled for the practical sessions, consist of 3 short-answer type questions. This part of the exam accounts for 30 % of the marks of the evaluation.
