Each UPCT campus will have one or more externship coordinators, who will be appointed by the deans or directors. The externship coordinators at each campus are responsible for overseeing the externships of students enrolled at that campus at partner organizations.
The academic advisor will be appointed by the Coordinator. The advisor must be a professor at the University, preferably from the department responsible for the degree program in which the student is enrolled, and, in any case, with expertise in the field of study related to the internship.
El tutor designado por la entidad colaboradora deberá ser una persona vinculada a la misma, con experiencia profesional y con los conocimientos necesarios para realizar una tutela efectiva. No podrá coincidir con la persona que desempeña las funciones de tutor académico de la Universidad.
1. Contribuir a la formación integral de los/as estudiantes complementando su aprendizaje teórico y práctico. Para ello, se ha de ordenar y sintetizar los objetivos y resultados alcanzados en las prácticas del máster.
2. Disponer de los conocimientos y técnicas para enfrentarse a un problema o situación empresarial.
3. Tomar conciencia de situaciones y problemas empresariales reales ligados a la práctica de la dirección y gestión de empresas.
4. Desarrollar habilidades y capacidades en la resolución de dichos problemas empresariales en diversos ámbitos funcionales de la empresa.
5. Realizar una presentación con criterios de profesionalidad, precisión y eficacia.
6. Favorecer el desarrollo de competencias técnicas, metodológicas, personales y participativas; así como los valores de la innovación, la creatividad y el emprendimiento.
It will be agreed upon by the academic advisor and the company mentor and will be included in a document attached to the Educational Cooperation Agreement, setting forth the specific conditions for each student participating in an external internship.
The student's final academic grade will be the weighted sum of the grades assigned by both advisors, with the grade from the advisor at the partner institution accounting for 30% and the grade from the academic advisor accounting for 70%. In the case of interuniversity master's programs, the evaluation criteria will be those established by the Interuniversity Commission.
